HB Reavis continue work on project planned in Polish capital

HB Reavis is continuing work on a project involving the construction of office buildings near Jana Pawła II and Chmielna streets in Warsaw. The company has been holding talks with its partners regarding the planned shape of the project.

HB Reavis purchased the plot in 2011. Since then preparatory work has been under way aimed at erecting a Class A office complex. Currently, the company is holding talks with potential partners.

The project is very important to HB Reavis. In this case good preparation of the project is essential, due to its location in the very heart of Warsaw, vision of the city, as well as the expectations of Warsaw residents. HB Reavis want to select its partners best to ensure the project meets the highest international standards from conceptual and technical point of view. Therefore, the company does not rule out establishing co-operation with well-known design offices also from outside Poland.

“Currently, we hold building conditions for a building that is 140 m high. We are holding talks with potential partners experienced in erecting skyscrapers both in Poland and abroad. The plot has a chance of turning from an undeveloped space into a vibrant location. We collaborate closely with the City of Warsaw Authorities,” commented Stanislav Frnka, Country CEO HB Reavis Poland.

The company plans to use the plot at the junction of Chmielna and Jana Pawła II streets for building a class A office complex. The project will probably consist of three buildings – a higher tower and two lower structures offering some 100,000 sqm of space for lease. The date of commencement of the building works is still unknown.
