SEGRO closes next stage of company investments’ renaming process
In August 2014 SEGRO, an asset manager and developer of modern warehousing properties in Europe, changed the names of two parks, thereby performing yet another stage of the renaming process of all SEGRO’s investments in the CEE region. Former Tulipan Park Warszawa has been named SEGRO Logistics Park Warsaw, Nadarzyn and former Tulipan Park Gliwice has been given a new name – SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice.
The multistage process was launched to rename the complex in Prague (Czech Republic) to SEGRO Logistics Park Prague, and the investment in Łódź, which changed its name to SEGRO Business Park Łódź. In the following years the names of investments in Warsaw and its surroundings have also changed (SEGRO Business Park Warsaw, Ożarów and SEGRO Business Park Warsaw, Żerań), as well as investments in Poznań and Stryków, which have been named SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań and SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków. In August 2014 Tulipan Park Warszawa changed its name to SEGRO Logistics Park Warsaw, Nadarzyn and Tulipan Park Gliwice to SEGRO Logistics Park Gliwice. As a result of the renaming process, eight SEGRO’s investments in the region have so far changed their names.
“The renaming of the parks are the outcome of a broader programme designed to unify SEGRO’s properties’ names in the CEE region. Furthermore, the programme also helps to emphasise the investments’ character and the activities carried out at a certain location as well,” explained Magdalena Szulc, SEGRO’s Business Unit Director for Central Europe.
