NTA lease completes phase one at Goodman’s Pomeranian Logistics Centre in Gdańsk
Goodman has leased a 3,102 sqm logistics facility to forwarding company NTA at the Pomeranian Logistics Centre near the Deepwater Container Terminal (DCT) in Gdańsk. With the signing of this lease, Goodman has achieved full occupancy for the first phase of development at the Pomeranian Logistics Centre.
NTA provides complex cargo handling in all Polish ports, including domestic and international sea and land forwarding through the use of automotive, rail and inland waterway transport modes.
“We were looking for a first-class logistics facility located near the port with access to key rail infrastructure. Goodman’s logistics centre was a clear choice, providing a quality property in a prime location, with the flexibility to adapt the space to our needs,” said Leszek Garzombke, Logistics Director at NTA.
The facility leased to NTA comprises a 2,984 sqm warehouse with 118 sqm of associated office space. In response to the customer’s needs, Goodman will change existing docks to enable the handling of goods up to 12 tonnes the location of the Pomeranian Logistics Centre links customers to sea, road and rail infrastructure. The first phase of the Pomeranian Logistics Centre is part of a 14,000 sqm facility. NTA joins existing Goodman customers at the facility, which include Kuehne + Nagel, Terramar and NRF Poland.
Construction of the second phase will begin in the second half of 2014 and on completion will double the size of the centre to 28,000 sqm.
