Crisis is the best time to buy: PNK GROUP to build a high-quality warehouse in Novosibirsk

PNK Group is to construct 23,350 sqm of warehouse space for Fix Price, the leading Russian “fixed price” retailer, at PNK-Tolmachevo, A+ Class warehouse complex located in the Novosibirsk region. This build-to-suit transaction shows the constant demand for high-quality warehouse properties, even disregarding the current crisis in the market and even in the Russian regional market. Knight Frank was the advisor of the transaction and presented the owner.

Being one of the largest national retail chains operating 1,500 stores across Russia Fix Price has a number of strict requirements for both location and technical features of warehouse complex. Only PNK-Tolmachevo met all these requirements and was selected as a place where company’s own build-to-suit warehouse property is to be constructed. Opening a warehouse at PNK-Tolmachevo will support retailer’s current logistics infrastructure and provide prime access to the largest cities of the Siberia region. It is also worth mentioning that Fix Price’s new distribution center in Novosibirsk is to become the first retailer’s warehouse in this region.

Construction works are to begin the nearest weeks and the delivery is planned for Q3 2015.

PNK-Tolmachevo is the largest high-quality warehouse complex in the Russian regional market. It has the total area of 382,500 sqm and is located 11 km from Novosibirsk and 2 km from Tolmachevo airport. The first phase of warehouse complex with the area of 50,000 sqm won CRE Federal Awards in 2010. Also there are Liotech manufacturing plant (40,000 sqm) built for Rosnano and Lenta multi temperature warehouse (39,500 sqm) in the territory of PNK-Tolmachevo.
