CTP signs agreement for NOD in CTPark Bucharest West

Network One Distribution (NOD) and CTP signed an agreement for NOD to lease more than 30,000 sqm of warehouse space at the CTPark Bucharest West. NOD is the leader in the electro-IT sector which is growing successfully on the Romanian market.

NOD is a main provider of the retail networks with a network of 3,000 clients. The newly built logistics centre will be handed over by the end of summer this year, and will help NOD to improve and extend its services during the 4Q peak season.

Both companies have agreed on a long-term cooperation, and CTP has committed to further support NOD’s growth. The investment is estimated at approximately €15 million and the property is built in accordance with CTP’s latest 2020 white book standards. “We are continuously investing in the improvement of our standards. We are upgrading interior office fixtures, bath and shower room furnishings, LED lighting, fire safety and loading bay doors, to name a few,” said Marian Orzu, Head of Leasing and Business Development Department, Romania.

CTPark Bucharest West is the largest and fastest growing logistics business park in Romania, strategically located close to the city of Bucharest. The park offers 200,000 sqm of warehouse space and CTP plans to construct an additional 100,000 sqm before the end of 2017. Furthermore, CTP plans to continue developments beyond 2017, and the total potential built up area at the park exceeds 500,000 sqm. Currently, there are around 1,000 people employed at the park, and CTP expects this number to grow to at least 2,000 people by next year.
