Intermarché to debut in Warsaw in Galeria Młociny
Intermarché has signed a lease agreement for 2,610 sqm in Galeria Młociny, marking its debut on the Warsaw market. Galeria Młociny is a modern retail and entertainment centre currently under construction in the Bielany district of Warsaw.
“We are constantly in talks with brands, which can provide the ultimate tenant mix to ensure that local residents and commuters can get a lot of their everyday tasks completed in Galeria Młociny. Intermarché, which is opening its first store in Warsaw, offers a wide wide selection of fresh produce, so is an excellent solution to the daily shopping needs of our customers,” said Anna Polak, Senior Leasing Manager, Master Management Group.
Intermarché is an international chain of supermarkets operated by the Musketeers Group, Europe’s largest association of independent entrepreneurs. Currently it has over 230 stores in Poland and the number is growing. The tenant was represented by Colliers International.
“Galeria Młociny attracts tenants with its excellent location next to the transport hub and Młociny metro station, which is frequented by around 40,000 commuters daily. Another draw is the list of lease agreements already signed with many popular brands,” added Anna Polak.
Over half of the available retail space (70,000 sqm total GLA) in Galeria Młociny has already been leased. The centre will offer 220 retail and service units.
