Skanska purchases key project in Prague

Skanska purchases key project in Prague

Skanska Property is expanding its project portfolio in Prague. The developer purchased the project from CSAD Praha Holding. Construction is planned to begin this year and completion is scheduled for early autumn 2019.

The building will be located between the streets Sdružení and 5. května, in the premises of the former bus station, and will boost with excellent visibility from the highway. In terms of the size, this will be Skanska’s biggest office project in Prague so far with approximately 37,000 sqm in two phases.

The landscaping between the phases as well as huge terraces with nice views over Prague will serve the tenants for relaxation and community events. Skanska Property also plans to upgrade the walkway below the 5. května street which will make it more pleasant for tenants to access the project. As with other Skanska projects, the building will be certified with the LEED standard on the highest Platinum level, and newly also with the WELL standard.
