McDonald’s restaurant to open in The Warsaw HUB

McDonald’s restaurant to open in The Warsaw HUB

A McDonald’s restaurant will open in The Warsaw HUB, a skyscrapers complex being built in Warsaw’s Wola district. It will be the chain’s first restaurant in the new business centre of Warsaw.

The new McDonald’s will be located in the convenience centre on level -1, near the underpass which connects the skyscrapers with the Rondo Daszyńskiego metro station. The restaurant with McCafé will occupy in total 390 sq m of space. The lease agreement between Ghelamco and McDonald’s Polska has already been signed.

“When designing The Warsaw HUB, from the very start we wanted it to become a generally accessible building addressing the needs of tenants and Warsaw residents alike. A McDonald’s restaurant is another step forward to achieving this goal. This will be the first restaurant of the popular chain in the business centre in Wola district, which will further increase attractiveness of the area,” says Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial and Business Development Director, Ghelamco Poland.

“Warsaw is a vibrant, fast-growing agglomeration. Our chain here already includes more than 50 restaurants. We continue to grow together with the city and the project with Ghelamco is a good example of that. McDonald’s is a brand open for everyone. We are visited by those who are in a hurry and want to get a quick meal as well as those who wish to meet for a coffee, that is both lovers of ‘soy milk latte’ and of a juicy burger with chips. We are looking forward to offering our services to users of The Warsaw HUB. We believe that it is one of those places where the heart of the capital beats,” says Dominik Szulowski, Corporate Affairs Senior Manager, McDonald’s Polska.

McDonald’s is not the first popular brand appreciated by Poles to open in The Warsaw HUB. Last year Rossmann drugstore, Biedronka supermarket and Zdrofit fitness club, among others, joined the growing group of tenants.

“McDonald’s entry to the Warsaw HUB is very good news both for the future workers of the complex and to residents of the area. This very popular restaurant chain will be located in the convenience centre, with access to the second metro line, and will join a wide range of food amenities,” says Mariusz Czerwiak, Head of Commercial Space Lease in JLL, the sole agent responsible for building commercialization.
