C&W appointed manager of five retail facilities of elbfonds Development

Cushman & Wakefield has taken over the management of five retail properties, totalling 56,000 sqm GLA, belonging to elbfonds Development.

The Property & Asset Management department of Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed to manage Centrum Handlowe Lubin, Centrum Józefosław in Piaseczno and marcredo Center’s three facilities located in Ciechanów, Szczecin and Kutno.

elbfonds Development is a real estate developer specializing in retail schemes located in medium-size cities. Apart from the five shopping centres managed by C&W, elbfonds Development owns properties in Głogów, Janów Lubelski, Krosno, Jaworzno, Myślibórz, Piekary Śląskie and Poznań, among others. Its Polish office is part of elbfonds Group based in Hamburg.

“The expanding retail market is helping drive demand for professional property management services. This is the second such a large instruction, following the management of five retail facilities of EPISO 3 managed by Tristan Capital Partners, taken over recently by the Property & Asset Management department of Cushman & Wakefield,” said Aneta Rogowicz-Gała, head of the Property & Asset Management department at Cushman & Wakefield.
