DTZ advises Mentor Graphics on lease of over 4,500 sqm of office space

Mentor Graphics has leased over 4,500 sqm of office space in the modern, A-grade Silesia Star office building in Katowice. DTZ represented the company’s interests in identifying an optimal location, lease agreement negotiations and technical advisory.

“Mentor Graphics will use these modern premises with inter-floor communications capabilities as highly-functional office space. It was essential to find a conveniently-located property offering over 1,500 sqm per floor, access to public transportation links and a sufficient number of parking spaces. The Silesia Star project ticked all the boxes, and Mentor Graphics have leased space on three floors,” said Mikołaj Sznajder, Associate Director, Office Agency, DTZ.

Silesia Star is a modern, A-Class office building on Uniwersytecka Street in Katowice. It is located close to Muzeum Śląskie, the University of Silesia and the International Conference Centre in Katowice. 25,000 sqm of office space and 2,000 sqm of retail space is at the tenants’ disposal. The project’s first phase was completed in December of 2014, with the completion for the second phase planned for the end of H1, 2016.
