Global Trade Center has acquired Premium Point and Premium Plaza office buildings in Victoriei Square, in Bucharest. The transaction was advised by Colliers International as representative of the seller.
The acquisition of Premium Plaza and Premium point is the second transaction with office buildings closed this year on the Romanian market after the deal closed in March by Aberdeen Aberdeen Asset Management Deutschland AG and Commerzbank, advised by Colliers International, sold Phoenix Tower office building in Bucharest to Adamamerica.
“The sale of the CBD located Premium Plaza and Premium Point buildings to an international investor is another important step in increasing the liquidity and positive perception of the Romanian real estate capital markets”, stated Robert Miklo, Associate Director Investment Services within Colliers International Romania.
Premium Plaza and Premium Point are two class A office buildings with top location in Bucharest Central Business District, Victoriei Square. Completed at the end of 2008, Premium Plaza offers a gross leasable area of 8,600 sqm and is leased to top international tenants, including Webhelp, Mavenhut, Enel. Premium Point is a 6,400 sqm office building completed in 2009, leased to strong tenants such as Franklin Templeton, Thomson Reuters, Autodesk, Certinvest.
