Hines, the international real estate firm, has closed another major transaction in Poland, after it was announced that five logistics parks were purchased by Hines Poland Sustainable Income Fund (HPSIF). This time, Hines International Real Estate Fund (HIREF) sold two office buildings, Neptun Office Center in Gdansk and Sterlinga Business Center in Lodz, to GTC.
Developed by Hines Poland, both buildings define standards for office buildings in regional cities. Sterlinga Business Center is the only facility of this type in Lodz being certified “EXCELLENT” against the BREEAM IN-USE scheme, whereas the 86-metre-tall Neptun Office Center was the first state-of-the-art high-rise in Gdansk. Providing a total of nearly 30,000 square metres of modern office space, the buildings stand out for their perfect location.
“The sale of our two key office buildings outside Warsaw speaks to the potential of those locations and the quality of buildings developed and managed by Hines Poland,” said Wojciech Rumian, Board Member, Hines Poland. “The latest transaction, recent logistics acquisitions made by HPSIF and the opening of Proximo office building herald further rapid growth for Hines in the Polish market, both in the office and logistics segment,” he added.
