One year after its completion the extension of Galeria Pomorska in Bydgoszcz can boast great success. The footfall has increased by over 30 percent while retailer sales saw a similar substantial increase. These results prove that both the modernization and the extension were the right steps undertaken by Resolution Property – the owner of the asset. However, this not the end as Galeria Pomorska, as it still continues to attract new brands.
On the 10th September 2015 the customers of Galeria Pomorska had the opportunity to walk into the new mall of the centre for the first time and to fully appreciate the advantages of the extended shopping centre. With the extension the lettable space of the asset increased by 10,000 sqm. Earlier in the year the centre’s visitors were also provided with access to the new multi-storey car park with 1,400 parking places and an additional outdoor car park for 160 cars.
“Twenty five – this is the number of the brands that debuted, underwent modernization or were moved to the new retail units after the completion of the extension of Galeria Pomorska. We are constantly improving our centre so that it can meet the changing needs and expectations of our customers. All the shops that opened during or after the extension’s completion have further reinforced our position on the local market and we are not planning to stop there. The offer of Galeria Pomorska will continue to evolve even further,” said Shane Scott Partner at Resolution Property.
JLL and Balmain Asset Management are responsible for the commercialization of Galeria Pomorska.
