Construction starts on Promenada Novi Sad in Belgrade

Site preparation works for the construction of Promenada Novi Sad, the future largest shopping center in Serbia developed by New Europe Property Investments (NEPI), are underway. The urban planning project is currently on display at the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction in Belgrade.

According to the plan, the mall will occupy a built total area of 115,000 sqm. The complex will be located in the heart of Novi Sad, at the junction of Bulevar Oslobođenja Street and Cara Lazara Street. Its construction will be divided into two stages with the official opening is planned for late 2018.

Promenada Novi Sad will spread over three floors, housing various retail units, a fitness center, a cinema, several cafes, restaurants and numerous other entertainment facilities. The mall will also have approximately 1,300 parking spaces. Besides innovative architecture, one of its highlights will be the 10,000 sqm green rooftop area, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Petrovaradin fortress and the Danube river.

The shopping center will be the largest of its kind in Serbia, as well as in the region. As stated by NEPI’s representatives. Further details about the project will be unveiled after a building permit is obtained in February this year.
