A new outlet centre will arrive in Pomerania

An outlet center – Pomerania Outlet – will be built at the current Galeria Rumia. From next year, customers will be able to choose from a wide range of discounted fashion and sports brands.

The Pomeranian region has 2.4 million inhabitants, and every year it is visited by around 9 million tourists. By the end of 2019, it is hoped that all going to the Baltic Sea will be able to shop at the Pomerania Outlet.

The new project is being created as part of the revitalization of the existing Galeria Rumia. The facility is located in the heart of Rumia, and on the main road leading from the Tri-City to the Polish sea. The proximity of the SKM station and the Tri-City transport bus stops will allow quick and comfortable access to shopping for residents of other cities.

“In deciding to change the format of the object, we took into account the super-regional potential of this location. In Pomerania, as yet, only one outlet was created, away from our investment, up to forty minutes by car. We are convinced that not only residents of the Pomeranian region will benefit from this rich offer of Pomerania, but also tourists who visit the region every year,” said Radosław Gadomski, Commercial Director, BOIG.

“As part of the revitalization of the facility, we have planned an extension and modernization to the entertainment and restaurant areas where today customers can take advantage of a five-screen cinema, restaurant and fitness club. After re-opening, there will be even more attractions waiting for them. Thanks to the introduced changes, Pomerania Outlet will become a place of shopping and leisure for both the Tri-city residents and people visiting the region,” added Izabella Wiszniewska – Oraczewska, board member of DNB Asset Holdco, the investor of the project.
