Lithuanian Apex Alliance group, which owns the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Bucharest’s Old Town, is due to inaugurate its second unit under Hilton’s four-star brand near the Otopeni Airport this summer.
The group appointed Romanian Anca Madalina Cristea to head the hotel, local Mediafax reported.
With an experience of more than 13 years in the hospitality industry, Anca Mădălina Cristea has previously held the positions of general manager of MGallery by Sofitel Tarčin Forest Resort & Spa in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and of the K+K Elisabeta Hotel in Bucharest.
The Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Airport is just 150 meters away from the Henri Coanda International Airport and 18 km from the center of Bucharest. The hotel has 218 rooms, five conference rooms, a restaurant with a terrace, a 24-hour shop, and a fitness room.
Apex Alliance Hotel Management opened the first Hilton Garden Inn in Romania, in December 2017. In 2019, Apex Alliance Hotel Management will also open the first Courtyard by Marriott in Romania on Dimitrie Pompeiu Boulevard in Bucharest, and, in 2020, the company will add to its portfolio two other hotel units, Moxy by Marriott and Autograph by Marriott, both located in downtown Bucharest.
