Urban warehouse space in demand – City Logistics Warsaw II by Panattoni Europe completed and occupied

Panattoni Europe, a market leader in industrial real estate in Europe, has completed and leased out all of the units at its next urban logistics facility. City Logistics Warsaw II, offering in excess of 13,000 sqm, will be used by businesses involved in transport and logistics as well as production.

The recently completed City Logistics Warsaw II has achieved full occupancy. Over 13,000 sqm have been taken up by companies representing transportation, freight-forwarding and logistics services, as well as production. This success comes in the wake of Panattoni Europe’s research into the needs and trends among tenants as well as consumers, followed by the development of innovative solutions. These solutions address the challenges of last-mile logistics and inner-city logistics, particularly those faced by smaller businesses and related to the growing e-commerce sector.

Marek Dobrzycki, Managing Director at Panattoni Europe, commented: “The development of the concept of urban logistics parks – Panattoni Europe’s City Logistics – is excellent news for small and medium-sized businesses, especially those operating in online sales, or planning to start such operations. Our facilities are based on the idea of Small Business Units, which are attractive because of their small size and potential for flexible combinations. Catering to the needs of smaller enterprises is exactly what has made the City Logistics Parks concept so popular.”

The space at the urban-based Panattoni Europe City Logistics Parks is snapped up immediately, so the developer is not slowing down and keeps developing this format. At present, Panattoni can boast 5 facilities in major locations across Poland – Warsaw, Wrocław and Łódź. In the capital city alone, apart from the newly completed City Logistics Warsaw II, the company has delivered two other urban logistics parks. City Logistics Warsaw I finds itself barely 4 km from the upcoming S7 expressway which within the next few years will connect the capital with Krakow to the south and Gdańsk to the north, while City Logistics Warsaw Airport neighbours on the “Opacz” junction connecting the S2 and S8 expressways. Moreover, the developer is extending City Logistics Wrocław I, located 2 km from the A4 motorway, and City Logistics Łódź, 4 km from the city centre. Panattoni Europe has already delivered more than 116,000 sqm within the framework of its City Logistics Parks.

City Logistics Warsaw II. Closer is better. The location in the Annopol district of Warsaw is the trump card of City Logistics Warsaw II. The project was delivered in the immediate vicinity of the Toruń Route and is perfectly communicated with the entire city, particularly its centre and north-eastern districts. The facility is very-well suited to the needs of inner-city logistics, but its location does not preclude transport outside the city limits. City Logistics Warsaw II is just 1 km away from the S8 expressway, connecting the capital city with Białystok, Wrocław and Łódź, whose section between Warsaw and Ostrów Mazowiecka will become part of the “Via Carpathia” international route.
