Panattoni named the largest logistics developer in Europe for 4th time

For the fourth year in a row Panattoni has been ranked first among the Top Logistics Developers by PropertyEU magazine. Between 2017-2019, the company delivered 6.31 million sqm of industrial floor space – more than twice as much as number two in the ranking. Panattoni’s plans for the up-coming three years are even more ambitious, and that will be possible thanks to the acceleration of projects targeted at Internet sales, as well as the ongoing strategy of the developer’s expansion in Europe.

Panattoni firmly ahead of the competition

Panattoni has been acknowledged as the largest property developer in Europe with the delivery of over 6.31 million sqm of completed floor space in Poland, Czechia, Germany and the UK, more than twice overtaking the second player in the ranking. Similarly, as in the last year, one-third of the property developments are projects targeted at and selected by the e-commerce sector, and one-fourth represent highly advanced manufacturing facilities.

And even more will come

For the years 2020 – 2021, Panattoni intends to break its record by multiplying the floor space delivered in the last three years. “They will be driven by online commerce projects in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as in two new markets opened in the last six months – the Netherlands and Spain, in which we have just announced work on the first investment – Panattoni Park Madrid East” and he also says: “To execute the plans, as well as to take advantage of the unprecedented growth in online sales, Panattoni is expanding its team that will focus on e-commerce across all Europe,” commented Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe, Panattoni.

Panattoni is the European subsidiary of Panattoni Development Company, one of the largest industrial property developers in the world, with 26 offices in North America and Europe. In only 15 years of presence on the European market, the company has completed projects with a total area exceeding 10 million sqm in this part of the world. A structure within Panattoni is dedicated to property developments tailored to individual tenants’ requirements, a build-to-suit model that specializes not only in providing advanced production facilities but also in developing facilities dedicated to companies from the large e-commerce industry. These include the tailor-made big boxes, comprising over 210,000 sqm, with high usage of robotics and automation, as well as storage spaces adapted to e-commerce logistics within the company’s own parks. The City Logistics Parks concept developed by the company is a natural and indispensable step towards the adaptation of the market of industrial facilities to client expectations and final consumer needs. Among them are companies such as Amazon, DB Schenker, DHL, Fedex, DPD, XPO, Coca Cola, Weber, Whirlpool, Bosch, Volkswagen, H&M.
