Elastron leases space in Panattoni warehouse

Elastron, a leading European distributor of natural leather, fabrics and microfibers for the upholstery and other industries, has leased nearly 3,000 sqm in Panattoni’s S5 Wroclaw North Gate industrial park. JLL advised Elastron in the process of negotiating the lease terms. The Elastron Group was founded in 1978 and initially focused on trading in natural leather for the footwear, and furniture industry. In 2002, the company diversified its business strategy, with the development and commercialization of natural leather, fabrics and microfibers for the upholstery, automotive and footwear industries.

“Our extensive product range requires effective and efficient logistic operations. What is very important for us is to lease space in modern and perfectly located industrial investments. These requirements are met by the S5 Wrocław North Gate project, which has excellent connections with Wrocław, and as a result, will be within easy reach for employees working in our warehouse,” commented José Carlos Oliveira, CEO, Elastron.

The Wrocław market is Poland’s fourth-largest location for industrial space with almost 2.5 million sqm.

“The investment attractiveness of Wrocław is confirmed by the fact that at the end of the first quarter developers delivered 180,000 sqm of space to the market, which was the best Q1 2020 result in Poland’s industrial real estate sector. Moreover, 200,000 sqm was under construction, with 50% being built on speculative terms. This illustrates the great confidence of investors in the Wrocław market and is further strengthened by new leases signed in this region. The best example of this is Elastron’s lease transaction for space in Panattoni’s warehouse,” commented Klaudia Dąbroś, Consultant at Industrial Agency, JLL.
