The 6th edition of the Top Woman in Real Estate contest has been launched. This is a unique plebiscite dedicated to women operating in the real estate sector on the Polish market who have been successful or distinguished by their achievements in the past year. In addition, companies supporting women and teams managed by women who were successful in their field last year will be selected.
You can sign up for the competition yourself, colleagues can nominate you, as well as your employer, PR agency or industry organisation. The application period runs from 15 February to 26 March 2023. “Despite many hours of discussion, training and awareness, we women still have the same problem: we do not appreciate and value ourselves enough. I deal with women in various positions on a daily basis and, in fact, regardless of their business function and seniority, we women are too modest.
It happened in previous editions that ladies reported by outsiders who appreciated their achievements told us: “I haven’t done anything like that, I’m just doing my job well, I’m not ready for Top Woman”. I know from experience that if I were to propose the same thing to a man, he would not hesitate for a moment to enter the competition, a quality that we women should learn from men.
It has been known for a long time that good PR or Personal Branding is half the battle, which is why I invite all successful women of the real estate world to enter the competition because taking part adds momentum to your career and helps you spread your wings,” says Krystyna Swojak, Managing Director, Top Woman.
Competition entries will additionally be rewarded for indicating achievements in the area of running a responsible business and implementing ESG measures, i.e. environmental protection, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance, as well as diversity and inclusion.
Participants will be assessed in 18 categories, including four special categories that will determine the best team managed by a woman, a company that supports women, the personality of the year – i.e. the woman in a top management position who has had the greatest impact on the real estate industry, and the independent People’s Choice category – an online vote in which Internet users choose their winner from among the finalists.
The jury will evaluate both specific achievements and special skills. Women from almost all areas of real estate and construction will be honoured, including architecture, engineering, development, finance, sales, brokerage, marketing and sustainability.

Results of the contest
The finalists and winners will be selected during the deliberations of the Jury of the competition. The Jury consists of authorities from the real estate and construction industry, distinguished by their outstanding knowledge and experience. No more than five finalists will be selected in each category. In the special People’s Choice category – online voting, there will be finalists from all categories of the competition for whom you can cast your votes. Online voting will run from 26 April to 15 May.
The full list of finalists will be posted on the competition website www.topwoman.pl by 26 April 2023, along with a description of their profiles and achievements. The winners from each category will be announced at the final Top Woman in Real Estate Gala to be held on 15 June in Warsaw.
