ABB, a global leader in power and automation technologies, has opened its new offices within the administrative complex BC Rozvojová in Košice.
ABB is a Swedish-Swiss technology firm, a global leader in the field of electrification, robotics and propulsion products, industrial automation and electrical networks. With more than 125 years of history, today ABB writes the future of industrial digitization. Worldwide, ABB operates in about 100 countries and employs 132,000 professionals. The Slovak branch started its activities in the early 1990’s and currently represents an established business-engineering firm with approximately 200 employees.
Since April, ABB officially occupies the new office space with a total size of 1,000 sqm together with 150 sqm of warehouse space and 50 parking spaces. The Office Agency and Project Management team at JLL Slovakia advised ABB during the whole process of relocation and fit-out works.
“We have decided to move our office in Košice in order to modernize and optimize our work environment,” explained Sylva Pavelová, Chief Financial Officer of ABB, s.r.o. Slovakia. “The new premises were designed in line with the new ABB brand standards offering a clean and modern environment with numerous relaxation zones to make work more enjoyable.”
“Similarly to Bratislava, Košice also shows a growing appetite on the tenant’s side to optimize or change their work environment,” said Dalibor Surový, Head of Office Agency and Tenant Representation at JLL Slovakia.
“The yearly volume of closed transactions is increasing and several older buildings are currently undergoing either partial or complete reconstruction. The overall atmosphere in the Košice office market is very positive. ABB was looking for a modern office location with good connections to the main traffic junctions in the city. I believe that this new office in Košice will contribute to the continued success and further growth of ABB in Slovakia.”
Business Center Rozvojová offers 13,000 sqm of A-class office space together with 350 parking spaces on Rozvojová Street in Košice. The premises are highly flexible with quality equipment and high-end IT infrastructure. The location provides an excellent road connection, public amenities and close proximity to public transport stops.

In cooperation with a local architectural studio, we have created a pleasant and modern space with sufficient brightness in the whole depth and number of bespoke furniture pieces.”
