Local real estate developer Alezzi Group has finalised the transfer of its concrete production operations to Heidelberg Materials Romania, an established producer of construction materials.
The transaction marks a strategic milestone in the Group’s evolution, enabling the company to fully concentrate its resources on the development of large-scale residential projects.
Developed entirely from the ground up, Alezzi’s concrete division was initially created to ensure direct production capabilities and quality control for the company’s own projects. Over time, the business line consistently maintained high operational standards and evolved into a mature and high-performing operation, with strong efficiency standards that eventually drew the interest of major investors.
“We developed this operation to maintain direct control over the quality of our projects and built it with the same discipline and rigour that define the growth of the entire Alezzi Group. The fact that this activity is being taken over by a global player such as Heidelberg Materials confirms both our position in the market and the consistency of our business model. In this new stage, we aim to further strengthen our focus on the area where Alezzi Group has generated the greatest impact over the years: real estate development,” commented Alezzi Group representative.
The decision to transfer the production assets comes at a mature stage in Alezzi’s development, enabling the company to capitalise on its accumulated expertise while directing its resources toward strengthening its presence in the real estate market. The external validation provided by Heidelberg Materials, a company with extensive international experience, further highlights the professionalism with which the Group’s industrial infrastructure has been managed to date.
The collaboration between the two entities will continue through a strategic supply agreement. Alezzi will continue using concrete produced in the same facilities, now operated under Heidelberg Materials’ management. This agreement ensures continuity in technical standards and offers end customers the assurance of quality backed by the expertise of a global industry leader.
