Orsted is HB Reavis’ latest client to choose office space in Varso Place. Rated “Outstanding” against the BREEAM scheme and awarded a WELL certificate focusing on the impact of buildings on human health and well-being, the project will soon become one of the largest business hubs in Warsaw.
Orsted is a Danish energy company pursuing a vision to create a world that runs entirely on green energy. The company is already one of the global leaders in offshore wind energy. At Varso Place, Orsted Poland employees will occupy more than 3,800 sqm of space in Varso 2. The relocation is scheduled for 2021.
The largest users of the building will include the science and technology campus Cambridge Innovation Centre (nearly 14,000 sqm) and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, which has just leased an additional +1,200 sqm, bringing its total lease area to more than 13,600 sqm.
Varso Place will also be home to the Polish branches of companies such as Nvidia, Yves Rocher and Workday. The middle of the three high-rises developed next to the Warsaw Central Station will be mainly occupied by Poland’s first four-star NYX hotel. NYX guests, office workers and other users of Varso Place will also enjoy a wide range of retail outlets and services available on site. A Zdrofit fitness club and a PZU Zdrowie health centre are expected to open in the coming weeks. A 200-metre public-access shopping arcade is being built on the ground floor of Varso Place, with a range of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes (including Nutrimind Group, Stół i Wół, Menya Musashi, Karmello, Salad Story, Vincent and Wrap Me) as well as shops and additional services (including a Nail Spa beauty parlour, a Sun Way Travel agency office and a Wiek exchange office).
After the two lower Varso Place buildings open this spring, construction works will continue on Varso Tower, the tallest part of the project. Designed by Foster + Partners, the 230-metre tower will reach its full height this summer, clearing the way for finishing and fit-out works. Varso Place offers a total of 144,000 sqm of leasable space.
