Despite the challenges faced by the real estate market, Apsys Polska is consistently implementing its development strategy. The company has recently secured a property with an area of 5,000 sqm located in the centre of Wrocław.
“We are constantly looking for locations that will allow the implementation of city-forming projects in line with the company’s strategic goal and our ambition to change cities for the better. It is important to us that all our investments implement the idea of sustainable cities, friendly to people and the environment. We see great potential in mixed-use projects that combine residential, commercial, office and recreational functions. We see them as an opportunity to develop a new urban model – one that will improve the comfort of everyday life of residents and release them from the constant pressure of time, positively affecting the balance between professional and private life,” says Maciej Wróblewski, Vice President and Director of the Development Department at Apsys Polska.
The new investment in Wrocław fits perfectly into the company’s philosophy, which wants to create multidimensional, innovative urban spaces that respond to contemporary needs, support ecological transformation and integrate residents. The purchased property is located in the very centre of the city, right next to the Wrocław Market Square, just 5 minutes from the railway station. Four buildings are on the plot, including two historical ones, which will be revitalized, and the degraded post-industrial area will be modernized and restored to the city and the local community. As part of a high-quality mixed-use project, Apsys plans to create e.g. residential lofts, communal urban gardens and services for residents.
“Revitalization projects are the strength of Apsys. The best example of this is the realization of Manufaktura in Łódź, which was built on the revitalized areas of the former factory. The post-industrial space, cut off from the city, has become the new centre of Łódź, a place of shopping, meetings and entertainment, where history, architecture and culture harmoniously combine with modern design and technologies, being a source of unique experiences. In our thinking about development projects, regardless of their scale or function, we always put people and their needs first – this is how we approach the next challenge, which is the implementation of the project in Wrocław. We want it to be integrated with the city’s life and bring real benefits to its residents,” adds Maciej Wróblewski.
