Apsys Polska has once again been recognised among the winners of the PRCH Retail Awards, securing an impressive total of 7 accolades. The Polish Council of Shopping Centres honoured both marketing and branding projects executed by Apsys, as well as the top management professionals working within the organisation.
The PRCH Retail Awards, granted by an independent Expert Council of the Polish Council of Shopping Centres, are among the most prestigious recognitions in Poland’s retail real estate industry.
In this year’s edition of the awards, Apsys Polska reaffirmed its position as one of the most versatile and innovative players in the Polish retail property market, receiving 7 trophies—including 3 Gold, 3 Silver, and a Special Jury Prize. This outstanding result highlights not only the strength of the Apsys brand but also the value its team brings to the owners of the properties under its management. The awarded projects combine bold communication, social responsibility, and top operational standards, delivering tangible results for business partners.
Apsys Polska received three Gold Awards this year, recognising both individual managerial excellence and forward-thinking approaches to marketing and retail development.
Leasing Manager of the Year: Elżbieta Rek, Portfolio Leasing Director responsible for Manufaktura, Posnania, and Food Fyrtel, was honoured for her consistent approach to building a tenant mix, effective negotiations, and portfolio development.
Event of the Year: The Apsys team won for the “Zakręcony Jarmark” (“Twisted Fair”) at Manufaktura, owned by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH. The event stood out for its scale, creativity, and attendance, becoming one of the region’s most recognisable winter attractions.
The Biggest Challenge – Marketing: Apsys received this award for the “Wolna Scena by Kato” initiative at Galeria Katowicka. The project revitalised the space in front of the entrance by creating an organised, vibrant venue for local artists—enhancing the urban feel of the mall, which Apsys manages on behalf of Savills Investment Management.
The Silver Awards highlighted the quality of Apsys’s work across ESG communication, social media, and community engagement:
ESG Communication: The “Mission: Koroniasty” campaign by Korona Shopping Centre in Wrocław—owned by Star Capital Finance—was recognised for using an adopted crowned lemur from Wrocław Zoo as a whimsical ambassador for a series of educational initiatives promoting healthy living, responsible consumption, and environmental care.
Social Media Campaign of the Year: Manufaktura was awarded for “From Nay to Slay,” a campaign that introduced a fresh tone of voice to engage Generation Z, significantly boosting their social media activity.
Community/CSR Initiative of the Year: Apsys was honoured for the “#Rybniczanie – Focus Park Bets on the Brewery” project for Focus Park Rybnik. The initiative revived memories of a now-defunct local brewery that had over a century of history and created a platform for community dialogue. It featured video-recorded recollections from former employees, collected memorabilia, and culminated in the establishment of the city’s first mini museum of brewing, along with a commemorative mural. This exceptional project earned the Special Jury Prize. Focus Park Rybnik is owned by Union Investment Real Estate GmbH.
“Every nomination and every award at the PRCH Retail Awards is proof that our work is recognised and appreciated in the industry. These trophies are not just decorations but confirmation of our commitment to implementing a strategy that combines high operational standards with our mission to create sustainable, vibrant spaces that inspire and redefine the relationship between the city, people, and public spaces,” says Agnieszka Tomczak-Tuzińska, Marketing Director at Apsys Polska.
