Apsys Polska has taken over the management of the Riviera shopping centre in Gdynia – the largest shopping and entertainment facility in the Pomerania region. At Riviera, there are 250 shops, including an Auchan hypermarket, 30 restaurants and cafes, a six-screen Helios cinema and numerous playgrounds for children, on 70,000 sqm.
In June, Apsys won the tender for the management of a shopping centre, owned by Union Investment Real Estate. Apsys is responsible for all aspects of the facility’s operation – from coordinating the daily work of all services, managing lease agreements, creating strategies and conducting marketing activities, developing and implementing a leasing strategy, implementing sustainable development solutions, to planning long-term activities aimed at increasing the value of the property.
“After a three-month process of taking over CH Rivera from the current manager, we started fully independent, comprehensive management of this unique facility. We feel a great responsibility because Riviera has been an extremely important point on the retail map of Pomerania for years and its leading position is an obligation. We approach the new challenge with great enthusiasm. Apsys Polska has many years of management experience in several regional markets. Thanks to this, we are able to offer diverse services tailored to the individual needs of our clients. In the case of Riviera, we set ourselves very ambitious goals related to, among others, the positioning of the centre, its offer, also beyond shopping, the arrangement of space inside the facility and marketing activities,” says Justyna Kur, vice-president of the management board and director of the management department of Apsys Polska.
“Together with the entire team, we will work to make the center even more friendly to customers, and residents of Gdynia and the region, achieve the business goals of the tenants and bring profits to the owner. Riviera has played an important role in the lives of Gdynia’s residents for years and has many loyal customers,” says Aleksandra Słowińska, director of the Riviera shopping centre.
