Archicom has purchased a 5.8 ha plot of land and buildings formerly occupied by Browar Piastowski in Wrocław. The purchase is a result of Archicom’s acquisition of Altona Investments – the property’s owner – for PLN 36.3 million.
Archicom is planning to develop over 1,000 apartments and services space in the newly-acquired area as well as renovating the historical buildings that are on the plot.
Experts from JLL advised Altona Investments on the sales transaction. Mateusz Dembiński, Senior Consultant, Land Advisory Services, JLL, commented: “The transaction between Archicom and Altona Investments confirms the high investor activity in the residential land sector in major agglomerations. Well – located plots, even with historical buildings on them but with a workable planning situation, can be sure to attract potential buyers.”
