Asseco Poland SA, one of the European leaders in the IT sector, has joined the group of tenants of Imagine, an office complex under construction at the intersection of Piłsudskiego and Śmigłego-Rydza Avenues in Lodz. The company’s offices will be located in Building A, occupying 1,730 sqm of space.
Asseco Poland is an IT company at the helm of the international Asseco Group. The company is the largest provider of modern IT solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, and thus the largest Polish software producer listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The clients of Asseco Poland are 311 companies operating in the finance sector, 74 in telco and utilities, as well as 172 public institutions.
“The new Asseco office is being constructed with the comfort of our employees in mind. The building where it is located is equipped with a car park and changing rooms for cyclists, a restaurant, a café and shops. In the space belonging to Asseco will also be prepared chillout zones. Following the latest market trends, we have decided to take a new approach to the organization of workspace. We are moving away from the office layout consisting of separate rooms in favour of a modern and ergonomic open space, combining the advantages of the office layout and open space. Our office will be equipped with modern and ergonomic furniture and separate rooms where employees can make phone calls and perform tasks requiring greater concentration, as well as conduct meetings in small groups. We hope that our teams will enjoy the new space,” said Jacek Tomkiewicz, Director of the Administration Department at Asseco Poland.
Asseco Poland has been present in Lodz for several years now. The company will appear at the Imagine office complex owing to the relocation of its regional headquarters in the city. In the facility developed by Avestus Real Estate, the tenant will occupy 1,730 sqm of the area of Building A, and its offices will be located on the first floor. The transaction on the part of Avestus Real Estate was supervised by Marta Wybrańska, Leasing Director, and the tenant was advised by Colliers International.

“The area around the “Marszałków” intersection, as the junction of Piłsudskiego and Śmigłego-Rydza Avenues is called, is becoming one of the most important business “hubs” in Łódź. The Imagine office building was designed by the architecture studio DDJM Biuro Architektoniczne. The construction works on the investment started in March 2018. In the last days the assembly of the elevation of office buildings has been completed, and now intensive finishing works and works related to the development of the area around the buildings are in progress. The complex is scheduled to be delivered in Autumn 2019.
