WasteTracker, a leading waste intelligence platform founded in 2024, has announced its official expansion into Luxembourg with the launch of its first project at Atrium Business Park, managed by Deka Immobilien.
Operating across five countries—Poland, France, the Czech Republic, Romania, and now Luxembourg—WasteTracker helps commercial real estate and large corporations track waste, improve recycling, and meet ESG goals through accurate data and transparent reporting.
The collaboration with Atrium Business Park, home to major finance and IT tenants, underscores the growing importance of sustainable waste management in commercial real estate.
“Sustainability is a central pillar of our asset management strategy. Partnering with WasteTracker at Atrium Business Park gives us reliable, transparent data that ensures regulatory compliance and supports our long-term ESG commitments,” commented Anne-Kristin Bloemen, Asset Manager at Deka Immobilien.
On the ground, property managers also highlight the practical impact of the solution.
“WasteTracker Terminal helps us measure waste production and, through analytics, allows us and our tenants to manage and minimize waste thanks to actionable insights. Our goal is to improve recycling rates and drive measurable environmental impact,” said Jessica Lourenco, Property Manager at Cushman & Wakefield.
Since its founding, WasteTracker has grown rapidly:
-
Deployed in 120+ buildings covering 2.3 million sqm of commercial space.
-
Delivered waste insights to 1,600+ tenants.
-
Trained 2,000+ cleaning staff in correct waste sorting and reporting.
-
Integrated with major ESG reporting platforms for seamless compliance.
The company’s CEO, Renata Hartle, emphasised that expansion into Luxembourg is more than a new market entry. “It’s the continuation of our vision to provide intelligent waste data that empowers businesses to take meaningful environmental action. Decarbonization of commercial properties is not only about energy—sustainable and transparent waste management is just as critical.”
The move comes amid growing regulatory and ESG pressures in Europe, with landlords and tenants seeking solutions that combine compliance with measurable environmental benefits. WasteTracker’s platform integrates directly into building operations, enabling smarter decisions and greener outcomes.
