Biedronka expands the retail offer of Stalchemia – EuropaProperty

Stalchemia Retail Park in Siedlce, has signed up a new tenant. Biedronka, the largest retailer in Poland, opened a 1,165 sqm store. Savills represented the owner of the retail scheme in the lease transaction.

Biedronka is slated as the largest retail operator in Poland with more than 2,820 stores in over 1,000 locations. The retailer now has nine stores in Siedlce. Biedronka is owned by Jeronimo Martins Polska S.A.

“Our new store in Siedlce was designed according to Biedronka’s modern standards. To improve the comfort of shopping we provided a spacious interior with convenient access to a wide selection of products. Customers coming by car are free to use a large car park and can reach our store from Geodetów or Wyszyńskiego streets, avoiding the city’s heavily congested junction. Residents of the nearby residential estate will also enjoy the comfort of doing shopping here,” said Paweł Michalak, Senior Sales Manager, Jeronimo Martins Polska, who is responsible for Biedronka’s new store in Siedlce.

“We are pleased that this hugely popular supermarket chain in Poland has decided to open another store in Siedlce at the Stalchemia Retail Park. Biedronka usually generates very high footfalls in all retail schemes where it gains a foothold. That’s why it is truly important to us that Biedronka is the first tenant to have opened a store in this retail park, which will greatly facilitate further commercialisation of the scheme,” said Olga Garlej, Leasing Manager, Retail Agency, Savills.
