BIG Poland acquires Grodzisk Sfera Park

BIG Poland has strengthened its presence in the Polish retail market with the acquisition of Grodzisk Sfera Park, an 11,000 sqm GLA retail park in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The transaction marks the company’s 13th retail property in Poland and its second asset in the Mazovia region, bringing its total portfolio to nearly 258,000 sqm GLA.

The fully leased retail park comprises 19 retail and service units and serves a catchment area of more than 100,000 residents. The acquisition further reinforces BIG Poland’s position in the Warsaw metropolitan area, complementing its existing Mazovian asset, BIG Łubna.

Eran Levy, CEO of BIG Poland, said the acquisition reflects the company’s strategy of investing in well-performing retail assets with strong growth potential. He highlighted the property’s strategic location, established tenant mix and consistent operational performance as key factors behind the investment, adding that the centre will be rebranded under the BIG name later this summer, followed by a programme of customer-focused events.

Elad Pedy, CFO of BIG Poland, confirmed that the acquisition was financed by mBank, describing the transaction as another milestone in the long-standing partnership between the two companies.

The latest acquisition continues BIG Poland’s expansion strategy, further strengthening its retail park platform in one of the country’s most dynamic consumer markets.
