BIG Poland is expanding its presence in the Polish retail market. In line with its investment strategy in Poland, the company has added Park Glinianka in Łubna in the southern suburbs of Warsaw to its portfolio of retail parks, acquiring it from Redkom Development, specializing in large-scale shopping project development.
Last year, Redkom Development completed 27,000 sqm GLA of retail parks, while a further 60,000 sqm GLA is currently under development.
Glinianka Park, developed by REDKOM Development in 2023, is a place that sets a new direction in the development of retail parks. It is located in Łubna, in the Piaseczno area in the southern suburbs of Warsaw, directly at one of the main arteries leading to the Warsaw downtown. A convenient, easily accessible location, a spacious and free parking lot and several practical amenities make Park Glinianka the shopping park of first choice for customers.
“We are happy to officially confirm that Gliniana Park in Łubna has already become part of our investment portfolio in Poland. This is a truly extraordinary facility that we believe will set the trends of retail park development for the coming years. Thanks to its functional, architectural and ecological solutions, it not only meets the highest investment expectations but, most importantly, it is already a place for customers they identify with and consider as their own. Additionally, a great location and a very attractive offer of shops and services make Park Glinianka a perfect fit for our development strategy. Thanks to intensive involvement in the everyday life of the local community, soon known as BIG Łubna, it will become even more closely linked with the southern suburbs of Warsaw. – says Eran Levy, BIG Poland CEO
“We are happy that we had the pleasure of creating such a unique place – a place for shopping, resting, dining and having fun for children. The new owner has extensive experience managing large, vibrant retail parks, I know that Glinianka with its clients and tenants are in good hands,” says Łukasz Komierowski, president of REDKOM Development.
The shopping offer of Glinianka Park includes a modern Carrefour supermarket and stores of such brands as Dealz, Home Landia, Jysk, KIK, Maxi Zoo, Pepco, Rossmann, Sinsay, Tedi, and Verona.
