H&M Romania, the leader of the local fashion market, leased 1,000 sqm in Unirii View, the tallest modern office building in downtown Bucharest. The fashion retailer will take up a superior floor within Unirii View, in accordance with its corporate image requirements and with an astonishing view over Bucharest’s old city centre.
”The most popular fashion brand in Romania will establish its future headquarter in Unirii View, which validates once again the project as a top notch property for blue chip companies. The choice made by H&M Romania represents a long term decision and it’s a great one, both for the company, which will have a highly visible and efficient headquarter, and also for its employees, which will work in the best area in Bucharest in terms of transport and general infrastructure”, said Andreea Paun, Managing Partner of real estate consultant Griffes, in charge with leasing strategy and commercial management of Unirii View.
At the same time, the efficient floor partitioning of Unirii View perfectly suits the complex requirement that H&M Romania had regarding its new headquarter: a new modern and highly efficient office but also a space which will also accommodate a showroom, where different events for partners or fashion and public influencers will be hosted.
The company was assisted in the lease transaction by real estate consultant Cushman & Wakefield Echinox. ”H&M were searching for a new, larger, and more efficient headquarters with excellent technical specifications and, preferably, in the same area that has been familiar to its employees since the company’s entrance on the local market. Unirii Square offers great visibility, excellent access to all means of public transportation – the main metro, tram and bus lines – while also being one of the major access points to the old city center. Following a lengthy 18-month analysis and negotiation process, Unirii View proved to be the best option, which is why H&M chose to establish its long-term headquarters in the office building”, said Monica Vasile, Director, Office Agency, Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
Unirii View is being developed on Corneliu Coposu Boulevard, only five minutes away from Unirii Square, and will be delivered in the summer of 2018. Unirii View will be the tallest modern office building in downtown Bucharest, with 19 floors (73 meters) and a leasable area of approximately 17,500 sqm.
Several companies have already chosen Unirii View for their future headquarters, among whom are NTT Data Romania, Pernod Ricard Romania and Red Bull Romania.
