The Council of Developers of Outlet Centers & Retailers (DOC&R) is a not-for-profit service organization, focused on the development and operations of factory-direct retail real estate projects across an international landscape.
DOC&R has invited Brendon O’Reilly, Managing Director of FASHION HOUSE Group, to join the organization board. He became an international advisor on the European outlet sector.
DOC&R was established in 1989. It is focused on the development and operations of factory-direct retail real estate projects across an international landscape. It builds a forum for idea exchanges and interaction among members – developers and retailers involved in the outlet industry. The organization gives an opportunity to work in tandem to create processes, reporting structures, marketing programs and industry-wide promotions of outlets as the preferred shopping destinations for current and prospective tenants and today’s consumers.
The DOC&R board is constituted by 12 top experts in outlet business from around the world, including Jamie Bourbeau (President of DOC&R), Sharon Haggard (Vice President), Linda Humphers (Executive Director) and others. Brendon O’Reilly, Managing Director of FASHION HOUSE Group, has accepted the invitation and become as an international advisor, bringing expertise on the European outlet sector functioning.
Brendon O’Reilly is an experienced manager with a proven track record in the retail and outlet industry. He has deep industry insight, coming from both occupier and operator sides. Since 2010, Brendon manages all FASHION HOUSE Group’s activities, building trust and awareness of FASHION HOUSE Outlet Centres among retail partners, customers and industry experts. Brendon is also a Chairman of the Outlet Retailer and Developers Association (ORDA) and an MBA certified retail business expert. In 2001, after a career in retailing, Brendon became Executive Director at GVA Grimley Ltd and Director of GVA Outlets. He created a dedicated outlet services business for Europe, an independent, specialist Outlet Services consultancy in the position to set up, manage, operate and market an Outlet Centre scheme. In 2010 GVA Outlets became the FASHION HOUSE Group which is currently the leading name in the outlet sector in the CEE and an expert in emerging markets.
