Bucharest’s first premium flexible office space concept almost full

The One, Bucharest’s first premium concept of flexible spaces, reached an occupancy rate of 90 percent, less than six months after its inauguration.

“At a time when the office market is recalibrating, The One brings a new concept for its members, combining various functions and services such as business lounge, concierge, conference rooms and event spaces, private offices and informal work areas or indoor golf simulator, in a space providing a premium design and spectacular views”, explains Sheila Ionescu, CEO, The One.

“In the context of the turbulent times we have gone through in the last two years, The One has first addressed the need for flexibility. Companies no longer have precise growth calendars, and the need for space is often immediate. Given these circumstances, for many of our clients, especially multinationals, we have become an extension of their traditional office. Other companies, given the reduced work schedule in the office, preferred to move towards flexible solutions, which offer integrated services, without the limitation of a 3 – 5 years contract,” adds Sheila Ionescu.

The One occupies the 6th floor and the last floors, 17th and 18th, of the One Tower office building. The investment exceeding 4 million Euros is under completion during this period with one last component: a 600 sqm space dedicated to both corporate and private events, ensuring the necessary spectrum of technical services and equipment.

The decision to invest in such a centre came in the context of rapid transformations in two related areas: real estate and hospitality. Two completely different industries met and laid the foundations for a collaboration driven by demographic change, the mobility allowed by new technologies and the constant need for flexibility. This first centre “The One” operates in the One Tower building, part of One Floreasca City, the first sustainable real estate development with mixed functions in Romania. The One offers a series of multifunctional spaces, which can host conferences and events for 100-300 participants, meetings, and training between 30 and 100 people, exclusive office space, which can be rented in the short and medium-term, offering its members access to various premium facilities such as concierge, sky bar or indoor golf simulator.
