Building B of Kapelanka 42 complex commissioned for use – EuropaProperty

Skanska’s flagship office building in Krakow – Kapelanka 42 is nearing completion. Building B has now been commissioned for use. The entire complex is scheduled to be completed by Q3 2014. Kapelanka 42 is being developed by Skanska in response to the growing demand for office buildings in Krakow and already enjoys popularity among tenants.

Kapelanka 42 is a modern A Class office complex consisting of two buildings. Each of them will comprise of 9 storeys above and 3 storeys below ground level. The development’s total GLA will amount to 30,000 sqm.

Kapelanka 42 has been LEED Gold pre-certified. This means that the office buildings will not only minimize its negative effect on the environment but also, due to innovative solutions, bring many benefits for its users.

Green solutions and the BMS system will reduce both water and energy consumption in the building, and therefore diminish operating costs. Kapelanka 42 will also offer flexible office space that will allow companies to tailor their space arrangement.

Medusa Group designed the complex and its general contractor is Skanska S.A. Skanska Property Poland will be responsible for the scheme’s commercialization.
