Candy POP opens its first Polish physical store in Złote Tarasy

Candy POP, a Lithuanian-headquartered retailer of sweets, beverages and snacks from brands from the US, Japan and other countries, will open its first Polish store in Warsaw’s Złote Tarasy shopping centre this summer. This marks another step for Candy POP in its expansion in Poland and follows the launch of its online store candypop.pl earlier this year.

Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for the re-commercialisation and property management for Złote Tarasy.

Benefiting from its vast array of products, including limited series of well-known brands available online, the new retailer in the Polish retail market has quickly become a household name. Candy POP is now taking the next step in its growth by building a chain of brick-and-mortar stores.

“The first store of Candy POP in Poland is being set up on the first floor of Złote Tarasy, a zone that is popular with younger customers and is already anchored by such brands as Stradivarius, Bershka, Reserved, and will soon welcome Popeyes, a new restaurant brand on the Polish market. To encourage customers to visit its stores frequently, Candy POP continues to expand its offer to include products from global brands, but primarily from those unavailable from other retailers,” comments Izabela Ługowska, Leasing Manager, Cushman & Wakefield, a member of the team responsible for leasing space at Złote Tarasy.

Złote Tarasy is a five-level shopping centre with an area of over 66,000 sqm. It has a portfolio of 180+ stores, including Van Graff, Converse, Victoria’s Secret, Guess, Lacoste, LUSH, Sephora, Douglas, MAC, Marc O’Polo, Massimo Dutti, and New Balance. Food retailers include Kuchnie Świata, Lindt, Nespresso, Lukullus, Organic Farma Zdrowia, and Five O’Clock.
