CBRE Global Investors announces, on behalf of the CBRE Property Fund Central Europe (PFCE) that Heineken has signed a long term lease agreement at the Liget Centre, Budapest and moved into 1,800 sqm of prime office space at the beginning of April.
Heineken has moved their Hungarian headquarters to the Liget Centre and the office space has undergone an intensive fit-out.
The Liget Centre is a historical office building built in 1948 and is located in the heart of Budapest. It comprises GLA 7,168 sqm and in 2000 was completely refurbished by the Dutch architect Erick van Egeraat. The building has sustainable credentials such as selective waste collection containers available throughout the whole building, electric car charging stations in the underground garage and the use of natural light has been maximised.
Martin Sabelko, Managing Director CEE CBRE Global Investors, commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Heineken to the Liget Centre. The office building is now a 100 percent occupied and I feel this is testament to the unique space on offer with the views across Budapest’s biggest city park and the courtyard that tenants can enjoy in their free time.”
