Cinema City has opened in Galeria Neptun in Starogard Gdański. The six-screen cinema will have a total capacity of 1,000 people. Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for commercialization of the scheme.
Cinema City will take up around 1,800 sqm. The viewers will be able to watch digital-quality pictures in six cinema halls, with the largest comprising 287 seats. It will also house a café offering beverages and savoury snacks. Galeria Neptun will be Cinema City’s 33rd location in Poland. Cinema City is owned by Cineworld Group – Europe’s second largest cinema operator.
Magdalena Kliwer, Director of Galeria Neptun, said: “We are very pleased that residents of Starogard Gdański will finally have access to a wide variety of movies without having to travel outside the city. It will allow them for saving both time and money.”
Galeria Neptun is located in the downtown area of Starogard Gdański at the junction of Pomorska and Jana Pawła II streets. It totals 54,000 sqm, of which 25,000 sqm is leasable space. The scheme offers an underground car park with more than 600 parking spaces. The centre serves a catchment population of around 250,000. Thanks to its superb location, the new gallery is easily accessible from each part of the city. Key tenants include: Intermarche, H&M, CCC, Media Expert, Empik, Smyk, five brands of LPP S.A. (i.e. Reserved, Sinsay, Mohito, House and Cropp), as well as a gym and fitness club “Good Luck Club”. The food court featuring a Grycan ice-cream shop, a Kropidowski cake shop and Alanya Kebap will soon be extended by other popular brands such as KFC, Subway and Waga Smaków.

We expect that following the opening of Cinema City, it will attract around 250,000 inhabitants of the Kociewie region. We predict that this will soon be reflected in even higher shopping centre’s footfall.”
Galeria Neptun Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. is the developer of the shopping centre while Dekpol Sp. z o.o. is the general contractor. Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive agent responsible for the commercialization of the scheme.
