Frey acquires Matarnia Retail Park in Gdansk
French-listed real estate investment firm FREY has acquired Park Handlowy Matarnia in Gdansk from Ingka Centres for €105 million. This is FREY’s first acquisition in Poland.
Matarnia Park Handlowy is a 52,278 sqm retail park. Matarnia surrounds the one and only IKEA store in the region. Together with IKEA, the total retail area comprises 73,000 sqm on-site.
Antoine Frey, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Frey said: “This acquisition will enable Frey to continue to implement its strategy of becoming the European leader in sustainable retail. This acquisition also marks Frey’s first investment in Poland, one of the most dynamic economies in Europe”.

Mindspace to open its second location in the Skyliner building
Mindspace has signed an agreement with Karimpol Polska for 4,400sqm of floor space in the Skyliner office building in Warsaw. This will be Mindspace’s second location in Poland, providing over 600 workstations, and is scheduled to open in spring 2023.

CBRE advised on the agreement. “Tenants are looking for flexible space in uncertain economic times and real estate owners are keen to have a partner such as Mindspace in the building,” said Konrad Szaruga, Head of Flexible Office Space at CBRE.
Blachotrapez goes for P3 Piotrków
P3 Logistic Parks has signed a long-term lease agreement with Blachotrape, one of Poland’s leading producers of roofing and facade coverings. The company has taken a warehouse of nearly 10,000 sqm in hall 6 at P3 Piotrków park.
Iwona Sadowska, Interim Head of Leasing P3 Logistic Parks in Poland, said: ”The park’s excellent location in central Poland provides a very good distribution point for national and international destinations. This is why this park is a popular choice for logistics operators and companies engaged in light manufacturing.”
Grzegorz Wróbel, Managing Director at Blachotrapez, said: “Given the dynamic development of our company and a significant increase in the number of handled orders, we have decided to lease an external warehouse.”
Radial doubles its warehouse space in MLP Pruszków II
Radial has agreed with MLP Group to lease an extra 8,100 sqm in MLP Pruszków II, doubling its warehouse capacity in the logistics centre. As a result, Radial has doubled its warehouse space to 17,000 sqm. The tenant was represented in the transaction by Axi Immo.
“Radial is another client of ours who has recently increased space leased in MLP Pruszków II, taking advantage of the strong potential for continued expansion of this logistics centre,” said Tomasz Pietrzak, Leasing Director Poland, MLP Group S.A.
“Following the rapid growth of our business operations, we needed to significantly increase our space,” said Tomasz Okowiak, Management Board Member, Radial Poland.
MLP Pruszków II is a modern logistics centre located on Warsaw’s outskirts. It is the largest complex in the area with a target leasable area of 393,000 sqm of BREEAM-certified space in selected buildings.
