NEPI Rockcastle buys stake in Ploiești Shopping City
NEPI Rockcastle has taken over the stake held by Carrefour in Ploiești Shopping City. Following the transaction, NEPI Rockcastle has become the sole shareholder of the shopping centre.
Ploiești Shopping City was completed in 2012 and has a leasable area of 55,000 sqm, of which NEPI Rockcastle controlled 23,000 sqm. The project has 138 tenants and a catchment area of 774,000 people, according to a company presentation.

Cordia to launch residential project in Budapest
Hungarian residential developer Cordia, a subsidiary of Futureal Group, will soon launch a new large-scale district renewal development in Budapest.
Marina City will be realized on a 10-hectare site on the banks of the Danube. According to local reports, the final number of homes on the plot could exceed 1,000. This urban regeneration project will consist of residential, office, retail and recreational elements.
Panattoni begins work on 40,000 sqm Park Szczecin IV
Panattoni has begun building work on Panattoni Park Szczecin IV, which is to comprise 40,000 sqm. The project’s space has already been leased out to a furniture company from the TSL sector.
The development will comprise one building, which is to be handed over in two stages. The first of these is to be completed in November.

Newmark Polska publishes a warehouse map of Poland
Real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska has published its “Warehouse Map of Poland”, a useful guide for companies looking to lease warehouse or industrial space.
The map shows the locations of all modern class A warehouses in core locations throughout Poland, existing motorway and express road corridors as well as planned road infrastructure projects across the country.
