GTC X opens in Belgrade
GTC X is the newest office building of the GTC Group in Serbia. GTC X brings to the market 17,700 sqm of A class office space in Block 41, located in New Belgrade.
Zoltán Fekete, President of the GTC Management Board shared his excitement about the newest project and further plans in Serbia: “GTC X is not just an exceptional building but also a major milestone in the history of our company, and a demonstration of our commitment to the Serbian market,” he said.
Like all previous GTC Group projects, GTC X was designed and built in accordance with the green standards of the LEED Gold certificate, which guarantees maximum energy efficiency and state-of-the-art technology.
CTP to build high-tech office building in Brno
CTP is constructing a brand-new office building in the office complex Vlněna, located on a former Brno brownfield site. It aspires to be the most modern building of this type in Central Europe. This 61-metre-high glass building will be located in the centre of the Moravian metropolis, will be completed by mid-2024 and will cost around €24.65 million.
The complex Vlněna covers almost 80,000 sqm. In addition to the existing eight modern office buildings, which are used mainly by IT and technology companies such as Oracle, Avast, Infosys, and most recently also by Zebra Technologies and KPMG, there are also retail premises in the complex, where there are cafes, restaurants, fitness centre and more. Last spring, CTP also opened its first coworking centre Clubco in Vlněna, which has been expanded by two more floors this year. The multifunctionality of Vlněna will also be complemented by residential spaces soon.
French investor buys office complex in Budapest
French company Groupama Gan REIM, on behalf of the SCPI Affinités Pierre, has acquired the Green Court Office complex on Budapest’s Váci Road from Codic Hungary. The complex, comprising two buildings, offers 20,181 sqm of office space.
Leased to eight international tenants, including Diageo Group on the basis of a firm 11-year lease, the complex, delivered in early 2022, is BREEAM certified at the Excellent level.
The investment of around €77.1 million reflects the commitment and desire of the SCPI Affinités Pierre to continue to position itself as an investor of new or restructured buildings that are designed with the environment in mind.
Logicor expands industrial project in northern Bucharest
Industrial and logistics developer Logicor has completed the development of another 23,000 sqm in the Bucharest I Logistics Park in northern Bucharest. More than 70 percent of the new spaces have been pre-let already.
Mediplus, a full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler has taken an additional space of around 5,500 sqm to expand the business and accommodate a fully automatized e-commerce distribution system, the first of its kind in the Romanian market. Alka, a snacks manufacturer, expanded on another 5,300 sqm to meet the needs of their growing operations. Rotis Lux, a wheel tyres distributor, leased another 6,000 sqm to consolidate the storage and distribution activities in the new location.
“New developments in prime logistics regions in Romania are already in our pipeline, reflecting the growing demand for modern and sustainable logistics space around the country,” said Mihai Diaconescu, Director, Asset Management for Logicor Romania.
Kaufland reaches 1,500 hypermarkets in Europe
Grocery retailer Kaufland has inaugurated a new hypermarket spanning 5,000 sqm in Bucharest. Following the latest opening, across Romania, Kaufland has 158 stores, of which 20 are based in Bucharest.
The newly opened hypermarket is fueled by renewable energy and is fitted with solar panels. The roof of the commercial building is green, covered by a mix of plants. Across the hypermarket, Kaufland integrated solutions that ensure energy efficiency throughout the year.
“In order to give our customers a seamless shopping experience, digitalisation and sustainability now play a key role,” said Marco Hößl, CEO of Kaufland Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
