1 Asset Management and Solida announce new PBSA project in Warsaw
1 Asset Management and Solida Capital announced the closing of a new PBSA (Purpose Built Student Accommodation) project in Warsaw. 1 Asset Management will be acting as the lead investor and asset manager, while Solida Capital Team will act as the main developer and minority investor.
“By the start of the school year in 2025, we will build approximately 350 units of modern PBSA for students and young professionals under the SHED Living brand,” says Matas Mockeliunas, partner at I Asset Management European Student Housing Fund.
“In terms of fundamentals, Warsaw is probably the best place in Europe to invest in Student Housing projects,” says Joao Saracho, Managing Director at Solida Capital Europe.
Panattoni opens a new office in Silesia
Panattoni has moved its regional branch to new offices on the 27th floor of the KTW II office building in Katowice. The 900 sqm space will have around 50 Panattoni staff working there.
In the near future, the developer is to launch construction of Panattoni Park Katowice Airport, which will eventually have an area of 216,000 sqm and be the largest development under a single roof in the region.
Marek Dobrzycki, the Managing Director at Panattoni, said. “Our location in the centre gives us the appropriate prestige but also excellent access to office employees. Moreover, we gain excellent prospects to expand in the future.”
Carlsberg Poland to stay at Park Szczecin Trzebusz
Savills Investment Management has signed a lease extension at Park Szczecin Trzebusz with Carlsberg Polska. Carlsberg decided to continue leasing almost 15,000 sqm of modern warehouse space at the facility.
Gabriela Matysek-Mazurczak, Asset Manager at Savills IM Poland, commented: “The extension of the lease with Carlsberg Supply Company Polska S.A. is a result of our excellent long-term cooperation and also confirms the high quality of the Park Szczecin Trzebusz warehouse project.”
Marcin Będlin, Warehouse & H&S Manager at Carlsberg Poland, added: “The warehouse space we lease meets Carlsberg Poland’s expectations as to the amount of available space, the facilities at the building and its location, which enables efficient distribution of our products in Poland and on foreign markets.”
Greenman Poland appoints Barbara Wojdełko as CEO
Greenman Poland, asset manager and developer of retail assets formerly known as Newbridge Poland, announced the appointment of Barbara Wojdełko as its CEO following Greenman Group’s acquisition of the business. Barbara will lead the team as Greenman Poland expands further into Poland and the broader CEE region. She will be based in Warsaw and will report to Johnnie Wilkinson, CEO of Greenman Group.
