Corwin launches green office project in Ljubljana
Slovak developer Corwin has broken ground on Vilharia, a €100 million office complex next to Ljubljana’s central train station. Situated in a brownfield site between the train station, the five-storey building spanning nearly 40,000 sqm is slated for completion in 2025.
Vilharia aims to join ten carbon-neutral buildings in the world with the LEED ZERO certificate. “We want to provide upscale offices that combine innovative technology and efficient energy use,” Jan Jazbec, the Vilharia project manager at Corwin Slovenija, commented.
Immofinanz reports €142 million net profit for 2022
Immofinanz Group delivered a very good operating performance in 2022 despite the challenging environment. The group recorded a net profit of €142 million. Rental income increased by 5.4% to €300.2 million. The portfolio grew by 62% to €8.4 billion due to the full consolidation of S Immo and the acquisition of retail properties. Proceeds from successful property sales will be used to repay debt and be reinvested in real estate.
“The quality of our properties and steady rental income again proved to be stable pillars in a volatile environment,” explained Radka Doehring, Executive Chairwoman of Immofinanz.
CTP buys three industrial parks in Romania
CTP has purchased three industrial parks in three Romanian cities from FM Logistic, a French supply chain services company. The newly acquired parks in Bucharest, Pitești and Timișoara span over 100,000 sqm. Following the transaction, FM Logistic will continue as CTP’s tenant for the long term.
“We are kick-starting a strategic alliance with a highly professional and specialized logistics operator, FM Logistic, who have been present in the Romanian market for over 20 years,” said Ana Dumitrache, Managing Director of CTP Romania.

Marriott International to deliver Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube hotel
In June, the city’s first Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube hotel is set to open in the heart of the 13th district. Accent Hotel Management will operate the hotel as part of a multifunctional real estate development including residential and commercial spaces.
