BIG CEE acquires Capital Plaza in Podgorica
CBRE South Eastern Europe provided advisory services to BIG CEE in purchasing the Capital Plaza complex in Podgorica.
Capital Plaza, a mixed-use facility, represents a specific entity for real estate on the Montenegrin market. It includes over 55,000 sqm of office space located in two towers, luxury apartments, a 122-room hotel, and a retail zone on two levels, all in the heart of Podgorica.
“The transaction represents one of the largest investments in the Podgorica market and we are honoured to have had the opportunity to advise BIG CEE in their new acquisition on the Montenegrin market,” Uroš Grujić, Head of Investment Properties for Southeastern Europe at CBRE pointed out.
Bratislava’s Aupark shopping centre to be expanded
Wood & Company is starting to improve its Aupark shopping centre in Bratislava. The centre in Bratislava is planning to expand with three exclusive retail units. The centre was opened in 2001 and is currently owned by Wood & Company.
“The expansion of the centre is our response to the current demand for larger retail formats and the growing interest in new brands. However, the aim of the expansion is also to support the quality of shopping, customer comfort and our commitment to sustainable construction and operation,” says Veronika Košická, Director of Aupark Bratislava Shopping Centre.
Another office building in Wrocław gets BREEAM certified
The first building of the Nowa Strzegomska complex in Wrocław has received the BREEAM certificate with an Excellent rating. Wrocław Business Park’s redevelopment will replace the existing buildings with five class-A office buildings. Cushman & Wakefield is the leasing agent for Nowa Strzegomska and Devco is the property developer.
Nowa Strzegomska will consist of five self-contained buildings with underground and aboveground car parks and a combined area of around 45,000-65,000 sqm at full build-out.
