Develia to acquire Polish subsidiaries of Nexity
Linklaters has advised Develia, one of Poland’s largest developers, on the sale agreement concerning the acquisition of 100 percent of shares in Polish subsidiaries of Nexity, a French developer. The agreed purchase price is €100 million. The acquisition will strengthen Develia’s development potential in the Polish residential market. Develia will also enter Poznań, where it has not been present so far.
“The transaction will bring us closer to the achievement of one of our strategic goals, which is to increase the scale of operations in the residential segment to the level of sales of over 3,000 apartments,” says Andrzej Oślizło, CEO of Develia.
Neinver and Nuveen secure €170 million debt financing for Polish portfolio
NEINVER and Nuveen Real Estate have successfully secured €170 million of debt financing for the Polish portfolio of Neptune – a joint venture between NEINVER and Nuveen’s parent company, TIAA. The financing for all of the Polish assets owned by Neptune – five FACTORY outlet centres and Futura Retail Park – has been jointly secured with Aareal Bank and ING Bank Śląski for a five-year term. The deal is structured through a green loan that is linked to sustainability requirements.
“This deal underlines the strength of our business and the confidence that investors and lenders have in the profitability of our portfolio”, said Daniel Losantos, CEO of NEINVER.
Charlotte Ashworth, Neptune Fund Manager at Nuveen Real Estate, added: “We are really pleased to have secured this financing facility which will help support the strategic priorities of the Neptune portfolio as we continue to invest in sustainability improvements for each of the assets.”
Panattoni begins another urban development in Warsaw
Panattoni has begun construction of City Logistics Warsaw IX. The value of the investment will amount to €19 million. Half of the space is to be occupied by Inter-Mlecz, a distributor of some of the biggest grocery brands.
By developing City Logistics Warsaw IX, Panattoni is once again demonstrating how attractive the west bank of the Vistula is in Warsaw. The developer has already developed City Logistics Warsaw IV in the Annopol district with an area of almost 40,000 sqm.
Excellent BREEAM in-use rating for Ploiești Shopping City
NEPI Rockcastle has obtained the BREEAM In-Use Version 6 Excellent certification for green buildings, for the Ploiești Shopping City. The new rating marks another important step in the company’s strategy to reduce its carbon footprint and upgrade its operations and development to the highest ESG standards.
