Enern and Lincoln Property to build offices in Warsaw
Czech investment group Enern and Lincoln Property Company have started construction of the office project The FORM in Warsaw. The project was purchased by the new owners in 2021 from Penta Real Estate. “The FORM in the Wola district of Warsaw is to become a showcase building in terms of applied ESG solutions,” says Troy Javaher, Managing Director of Lincoln Property Company.
The FORM is aiming for WELL and LEED Platinum certification and will be one of the few buildings in Central Europe to have other certifications such as WiredScore, SmartScore, ActiveScore and AirRated.
Kuryłowicz & Associates were involved in the concept, while Epstein prepared the final design. The general contractor is PORR and the project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.
Panattoni begins speculative construction near Krakow airport
Panattoni has begun the construction of City Logistics Kraków Airport II. It will be located near Balice Airport – the second-largest airport in the country. The investment is set to become an excellent platform for services like last-mile logistics and e-commerce. City Logistics Kraków Airport II has a target area of 21,330 sqm. The developer will complete the investment at the beginning of 2024.
“Krakow is the city with the second largest population in Poland, and Balice Airport is the second largest in the country in terms of passengers served. Our new investment allows us to take full advantage of the great benefits of the location and is great news for businesses that need industrial space in this region,” says Michał Samborski, Head of Development at Panattoni.
Candy Pop opens its first Polish physical store in Złote Tarasy
Candy POP, a Lithuanian retailer of sweets, beverages and snacks from brands from the US and Japan, has opened its first Polish store in Warsaw’s Złote Tarasy. This marks another step for Candy POP in its expansion in Poland and follows the launch of its online store candypop.pl earlier this year.
“Candy POP is being set up on the first floor of Złote Tarasy, a zone that is popular with younger customers and will soon welcome Popeyes, a new restaurant brand on the Polish market,” comments Izabela Ługowska, Leasing Manager, Cushman & Wakefield.
CBRE brokers sale of Ljubljana office building
CBRE’s Capital Markets team has acted as a sell-side advisor to Zetland Capital in the disposal of the 11,800 sqm Situla Business Center office complex in Ljubljana. “The transaction shows investors’ confidence in the office segment across Slovenia and acts as another proof of market liquidity across SEE with more deals to occur until year-end,” says Zoran Danilović, Associate Director at CBRE.
First phase of East Gate Pro Business Park gets BREEAM certification
Halls A1 and B1, completed in the first phase of Wing’s East Gate Pro Business Park development, have received BREEAM International New Construction certification with a “Very Good” rating. The first phase has 100 percent occupancy. Hall A2 is scheduled to be completed in late summer.
