Nrep acquires majority stake in Polish logistics developer 7R
Nrep has agreed to acquire an 80 percent stake in 7R, one of the largest logistics developers in Poland, investing approximately €200 million into the company. The platform will continue to operate under the 7R brand.
Rune Kock, CEO of Nrep, said: “This acquisition provides a unique opportunity to apply our decarbonisation focus on a large portfolio and scale our efforts to bring down CO2 emissions, as well as gain access to a significant pipeline in a market which has seen continued tenant demand but reduced supply.”
Tomasz Lubowiecki, Founder and Chairman of the Board at 7R, said: “This new capital investment in 7R will allow the business to continue its sustainable growth, develop in new markets and focus on long-term tenant relationships, all of which are beneficial to all our business lines.”
Macquaire raises €260 million for European Logistics Real Estate Fund
Macquarie Asset Management announced the final close of Macquarie European Logistics Real Estate Fund with approximately €260 million in investor commitments. The fund received commitments from a diverse range of investors, including pension funds and insurance companies. It has been successfully deployed across a portfolio of 10 European properties, including logistics facilities in the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland and Norway.

Accor launches new boutique hotel brand in Poland
Hospitality group Accor has inaugurated The Crown, a four-star hotel in Kraków, which is part of the Handwritten Collection, a portfolio of boutique hotels from around the world. This is Accor’s second property of this kind in the region and the first in Poland. The hotel will address both leisure and business tourists.
“The idea that inspired us for this amazing hotel was to capture the old spirit of true Polish hospitality and the history that is associated with this hundred-year-old building and Krakow itself,” said Patrycja Matyjaszczyk, Brand Manager – Mercure & Handwritten Collection – DACH & Eastern Europe.
Rock Holding to invest €70 million in Brașov hotel
Romanian real estate company Rock Development Holding will invest €70 million in its first five-star luxury hotel in Brașov. The new luxury project will comprise a hotel with 120 rooms and an aparthotel with 75 residential units.
“The investment is significant, being a large project, with almost 200 units at international standards, and we want the entire complex to be managed by a world-class hotel operator,” said Mircea Cotiga, CEO of Rock Development Holding.
