Radisson opens first RED Brand hotel in Southeast Europe
In Serbia, Radisson Hotel Group has opened in Belgrade its first hotel under the RED brand, marking its expansion in Southeast Europe. Following an extensive refurbishment of the existing building, Radisson RED Belgrade features 88 accommodation units, including three apartments. The hotel’s facilities include a modern restaurant and a rooftop bar, as well as coworking spaces and a fitness centre.
“This hotel marks another key step forward in our mission to provide outstanding experiences to guests in our properties located in multiple cities and countries,” said Reli Slonim, President of the Management Board of Arena Hospitality Group, the operator of Radisson RED Belgrade.
CPIPG sells Concept Tower office building in Warsaw
CPI Property Group has sold the Concept Tower office building in Warsaw to Wood & Company Real Estate Fund. Belonging to the group’s portfolio since 2020, the 15-storey has a LEED certificate at the Gold level. Concept Tower is currently fully leased by 25 institutions and businesses.
“Now is the moment to review and optimise our assets against our development strategy. Concept Tower is an example of a medium-sized office building with high investment potential,” comments Barbara Topolska, Country Manager of CPI Property Group Poland.
Poland’s industrial market closes another good year says C&W
According to the latest report from Cushman & Wakefield, 2023 saw the second-highest supply level and the third-highest take-up figure in the history of the Polish industrial market. The sector continues to enjoy strong fundamentals supporting its steady growth despite the rapidly changing macroeconomic environment.
“Last year’s leasing activity reached nearly 5.6 million sqm – the third highest result since records began. Leasing activity accelerated particularly in the second half of 2023, which is positive news and a sign of improving occupier sentiment”, comments Damian Kołata, Partner, Head of Industrial & Logistics Agency Poland, Head of E-Commerce CEE, Cushman & Wakefield.
By sector, strong demand continued to come from logistics and courier companies which accounted for 35 percent of all deals in 2023. Other leading growth sectors were retail including e-retailers, which generated approximately 25 percent of total take-up, and manufacturing and automotive with a similar share in the leasing volume.
GTC unveils changes to retail asset management in Poland
