BPI REAL ESTATE IS PLANNING NEW INVESTMENTS IN POLAND
BPI Real Estate Poland is preparing to launch six new investments in Poland. The new developments will be launched in Wrocław, Poznań, Tricity and Warsaw, and are all scheduled to start in 2022. In total, the projects will provide nearly 70,000 sqm to the Polish market. The company’s plans include both residential and mixed-use investments as well as entering the PRS sector.
Béranger Dumont, General Director of BPI Real Estate Poland, said, “We purchased several perfectly located plots of land, started design works on planned investments and enlarged our structures.”
The developer is currently preparing to launch construction works for residential projects in Wrocław, Poznań and in Gdynia. In the second half of the year, BPI Real Estate Poland plans to start an innovative large-city project, which will be implemented in Poznań’s Łazarz district in cooperation with Revive.
The next projects planned for this year will be located in Warsaw. The first is a residential investment at ul. Chmielna in the city centre. The second project is located at ul. Obrzeżna will be implemented within the PRS sector in cooperation with Acteeum.
YAREAL STARTS BUILDING FINAL STAGES OF LIXA OFFICE COMPLEX
Yareal announced that it has signed a contract with a general contractor responsible for completing the final stages of its flagship office complex, LIXA. FineTech Construction will build two office buildings with a total area of 29,000 sqm near Daszyński Roundabout. So far, nearly 49,000 sqm of modern offices have already been developed here at LIXA, including the most recently commissioned building C, which will soon be ready to welcome its first tenants. Low-rise offices, tenant-friendly scale and open green gardens and terraces spanning over 5,000 sqm distinguish LIXA from other high-rises in the area.

PEEK & CLOPPENBURG STORE TO OPEN IN ATRIUM PROMENADA
Atrium Promenada in Warsaw continues to attract first-class brands. Peek & Cloppenburg will open a large 2 level store in Q2 2023, as part of the mall’s continued refurbishment and repositioning. Peek and Cloppenburg will occupy 3,450 sqm in their latest store format.
The Peek & Cloppenburg store in Atrium Promenada will be the tenth Peek & Cloppenburg store in Poland, emphasizing the importance of the Polish market for the brand. The store will be spread over two floors, occupying a total of 3,450 sqm of retail space.
“The Peek & Cloppenburg brand matches our strategic approach and will strengthen Atrium Promenada as the dominant destination on the right side of Warsaw,” says Scott Dwyer, Group Managing Director – Retail, Atrium European Real Estate.
2022 and the beginning of 2023 will be marked by many changes in Atrium Promenada. A comprehensive transformation of the second part of the asset is underway. The completion of the renovation is scheduled for the first half of 2023.
CAMPUS 6.2 ACHIEVES WELL CORE & SHELL CERTIFICATION AT GOLD LEVEL
Campus 6.2, the second phase of the Campus 6 project developed by Skanska in Bucharest has achieved the WELL Core & Shell certification at a Gold level. The project thus becomes the second office building in Romania to hold all three prestigious WELL C&S Gold, LEED Platinum, and WELL Health-Safety Rating certifications, after Campus 6.3 has obtained the same certification at the end of last year.
“The values behind the WELL assessment are part of Skanska’s values, and we can only hope that they will become a true standard for the whole market,” said Raoul Mihalca, Project Manager for Skanska CEE’s business development operations.
The two Class A buildings, Campus 6.2 and 6.3 have been handed over to S IMMO AG after a €97 million transaction. This was Skanska’s largest transaction on the Romanian market to date.
